Recently, I’ve been scouring Book Twitter and trying to understand what it is that one might need to start the hike into literary world. A lot of people have promoted having a website because it gives people “something to look at,” but I never quite understood. After doing some research, I realized that maybe having a website wouldn’t be the worst thing ever. Growing up I never thought of myself as having a website that would have my name in the URL, but here we are.
So, why a website? It gives you a platform to connect with people outside of social media and a way to market yourself and your work. Now, my site is in its baby stages. I don’t have much in the way of a biography, or publications, and I’m not entirely sure what all to put on here since I haven’t started querying or actually published a book yet, but I’m sure we’ll get there. At least for now I have another place to yell into the void.
So, for now, thank you for visiting my blog!
